Is two eggs for breakfast enough?

Women over 50 need to get at least 30g of protein at each meal.

Eggs are a great source of protein, however 2 whole eggs contain only 12-14g protein in total. So how can we boost the protein count without eating a dozen eggs in one hit?

You can buy pure egg whites at the supermarket. By adding 100g of egg whites you're adding an extra 11.2g of protein.

And then by adding some smoked salmon, you'll get an extra 10g.

Let's do the math:

2 eggs = 12g protein

100g egg whites = 11.2 protein

50g smoked salmon = 10g protein

TOTAL protein = 33.2 g

Other add-ons to your 2-egg breakfast for extra protein* can be:

Beans 100g = 6g protein

Bread 1 slice = 3g protein

Chicken breast 100g = 30g protein

Tofu 100g = 17g protein
