Are you eating C.R.A.P.?

CRAP is an acronym for foods and drinks that have empty calories and are high in sugar and nasty fats. ⁣It's important that we remember the 80/20 rule, and limit these CRAP foods as much as possible.

C - Carbonated Drinks - There is strong evidence today that drinking sugary soft drinks can lead to weight gain. So please limit your intake of these. Included in this is fruit juice which is high in sugar, and has little or no nutritional value. Just eat the actual fruit instead!!

R- Refined Sugars - you know the drill here. Stay clear of those hidden sugars. They are not doing you any favours!

A- Artificial foods - again, the sweets, the soft drinks, the processed party food, the additives. Steer clear.

P- Processed Foods - Things like ice cream, sausages, smoked and cured deli meats, hams and party foods. These foods usually contain trans fat as well which is not good for us.
